I just don't get where they're going with the pickguard. I mean, corporate legal is worried about roundhorns being "too Gibson", so they make them more Gibson-like with a PG? Or maybe they're trying to tie it into the Scott Ian KV? Weird and, IMHO, somewhat un-Jackson-like.

The PG looks like a confusing mess.

It sure does. I wonder if it's still rear loaded.

Such a swing and a miss with the gibson shapes this year. Why do it at all if you're not going to do it properly?

Why do it at all, if you're not going to allow customers to order them?

It would be more cool if the whole front were a pickguard. Why show any of the body wood in the front I'm thinking...

                    Probably.
From that picture, it misses every mark for me. I just don't get it, or who would want it. I wonder if they're trying to metal out a Gibson with a pointy head, or traditionalize a Jackson? Not for me at all. Talk about losing ones identity.

Well, it isn't as bad as that F'ed LP Phil Collen ran around with
