Nice stuff. Flake of any color (or lack of color) is hard to present with a still camera because it doesn't capture the 3d depth of the little flakes.

Crappy lighting, but this thing had flake for days.

I gotta ask you who did that? I really like the burst edge.

What's the benefit of those angled pickups?

Enhanced low end in theory by moving those pole pieces up where there is more string displacement. The one thing I notice is the upper pole pieces are not under the strings. They rotated it keeping the strings centered on the bottom poles rather than trying to bisect both poles. Not sure if that makes a difference. It sounds different but I haven't had enough time with it to figure it out yet.
This might be an interesting one to try different pickups in, maybe rails.

I was just about to ask how you're finding the angled pickup. I had a Kramer with one and I couldn't get along with it at all... Fantastic looking guitar though!

I haven't had that much time to play it but I do find that the all mahogany construction changes the unplugged acoustics noticeably. On the plugged in side at first I didn't like the angled pickups woofie sound but that was with my regular amp settings. Once I spiked the gain and scooped the mids it really started to shine. It was completely different animal. I was ready to write it off but not anymore.
