Dimarzio bridge pickup for SL-1 - need help

Hi,

I want to replace my PafPro in bridge with something little hotter and slightly more balls.
I have to choose between Steve's Special or the Norton. In the neck i have Air Norton S (mini hum).
What do you think will sit better inside between these two?

The Norton is an awesome pickup. I've got one in a mahogany Hamer and love it. It sounds tight, a cross between modern and vintage, nice mids and low end with slightly rounded off treble.

Any experience with steve's special in a soloist?

I've never used one, but from everything I've heard, it's scooped in the mids; pretty much the opposite of the Norton.
