    Cool axe, but it did not come stock with EMG's! Assuming that's a USA Production Rhoads, it had the Jackson pickups with active mid range boost. They never had EMG pickups on Production guitars from that era.

      I'll take another look inside, but, from I can see, it looks like a legit time period correct in house emg cpa.
      Custom order perhaps?
      I'll take some pics later, post them, let the arguments of opinion ensue.

        It's not a custom order if the serial is "U0" so the pickups were added later. There's really no opinion over this, Jackson did not use EMG pickups in their USA Production line during the time of this guitar. They were using their own pickups and an active mid range boost. If it was an "RR" serial number then it could have been anything, but you have an early production USA Rhoads, it had Jackson pickups, end of story.

          Great guitar! RR1 is really the only guitar I don't have that I'd spend big bucks
          on these days. Enjoy!
