That's one way to do it. What are you using for a cover?
I just gut the cheap wiring on the current box and upgrade it to 18 gauge wire.
Switch the wiring from pivoting on the solders points to having it come in from the side.
That's what tends to kill these things. Thin wire and shitty soldering. Solder joints break off to easy.
For a cover I just pulled most of the plastic from the broken battery box and just left the two slots for the batteries. I then used silver Gaffa to secure the top. There is a pic of it in the top right hand corner. On the last battery box I had one of the copper terminals just snapped off. Having the sustainer working 100% again is a Godsend. I have also bought a Marshall JMP-1 Rack preamp and a TC electronics G Major. Just need to find the right midi controller. Preferably not too big. Thanks Paul
