Well, not the biggest fan of bolt-on's - all my guitars are neck-thru, and I like painted guitars and graphics - not really into transparent finishes, and I don't care for chrome trim, and I prefer ebony boards over rosewood......so when I stumbled across this I HAD TO HAVE IT
. Really is pretty cool though: thick maple cap over mahogany, really nice rosewood board, and I really like the archtop and binding. Pickups are 59 bridge / duckbucker middle / little 59 neck. Very Les Paul-ish sounding. Came with a Jackson badged case and the aluminum trem cover - not shown in pix. Interesting stuff - last two digits of the WO number in the truss rod cavity, and the narrow binding around the neck pocket. Fun guitar so far - just tonally different enough from my other Jacksons that so it fits in well. For a while anyway
.
