  • Solid flame maple soloist

I have seen a few dinkys and some strats but only one Soloist.
Seen lots of flame tops but not back to front solid flame maple.
Are they common? Has anyone seen one?

Uhhh, wouldn't the neck-through construction negate that?

Yes. You could have solid maple sides, but then you'd have to put a veneer over the back and front as to not see the neck.

Danny Spitz had a solid flame dinky Rhoads - 3 piece flame neck and solid flame wings..

Right. Maybe I misinterpreted, but thought he meant a solid one-piece body, like we've seen on a few Strat or Dinky guitars through the years. That just doesn't work with neck-through construction.

This is what I meant, no veneer just solid pieces of maple

I guess we both misinterpreted his question.

So this is something pretty unusual then? I have never seen one until now.
Just wondering why no one hit the buy it now button.
