This one arrived few days ago, Jackson Custom Select Soloist. I haven't had much time to play it yet until today, but it plays and sounds as good as it looks. Specs are as follows.

Yes, the natural binding is a reveal of the quilted maple top. It's a 1/8th top, not a veneer.

As to how long, this one isn't going to give a good sense of how long CS build times are taking now. There were initially some issues with this order. But, once aware, the guys at Jackson did everything to make it right and then some. My semi-educated guess is that, once righted, it took about a year after then.
