Poly Lacquer natural crack? not sure

Hey, I got this guitar (as i mentioned in my first thread in one the comments)
I saw this





The guy said its natural crack of the poly lackquer, and nothing with the wood.
Should i be worried?

Good to hear that it's not in the wood. Those neck pocket lacquer cracks seem to be more common on Ibanez bolt-on guitars. Ibanez owners come to a general consensus: Don't worry about it, but keep an eye on it.

I see this a lot as well. Some have had the same crack for 30+ years.

well, remove the neck and check the neck pocket to be sure...
