    Nice! What's the serial?
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

the sustainiac PU needs a lot of room, as shown on the pic. It needs two 9V batteries too... That was made in 1990 approx. I guess it's like dings and other imperfections, I have to accept it. That makes me think I have to buy 2 9V batteries to try the sustainiac. From what I've seen on YouTube, that system is amazing!

Thanks! Yes, the fret ends are nibbed. I'll take better pics one of these days.

I'm wondering now about the case these guitars came with in 1986... On different ads, I've seen Jacksons with cases that looked like a 1986 Kramer case I have (black, dark blue inside, close to a Fender's case). Did Jackson already make Jackson cases back then?

                      Nice.
                      96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

Here are some other pics of the beast... I took off the Ibanez edge Floyd - its trem arm was awful, and trem bends were very limited (approx. 1 tone only, and the trem hit the body).
The sustainiac works great. I'll keep it, and won't put back the Jackson PU. Impossible to get the guitar in its original state...
I was worried about the trem holes which seem to be badly placed. Fortunately, the holes are correct, it's the bridge PU that's a bit wrong. Have you ever seen this on a sandimas Jackson?
