So did you get it?
I had a shot at that one for $620 but didn't go for it due to the missing tip on headstock.
Would have made a great refin candidate except it has a cool graphic which sort of defeats the point.
Is that a Soloist ? That's a smoking deal and fixing the rear tip on a painted Soloist headstock is simple. Just get some maple wood filler, shape the tip, let it dry, wetsand it down and then paint(I use fingernail polish), wetsand smooth and polish. I recently got in a Dean Razorback V with the V-tip broken off(THANKS UPS), filed a claim, got $100 back and fixed it myself. You couldn't even tell it was repaired. Fingernail polish works really well for wetsanding and buffing in.
Congrats, you got a killer guitar. I was resisting so hard. The early U serial guitars are some of the finest.
I am guessing that one has the je1200 and not 2 tone knobs as listed.
Very cool. 89' or so I'd guess. I've seen some earlier ones with JT6's.

A J serial number means it's a full custom guitar. U serials were the first of the standardised USA guitar lines where there were finish options available but guitars were no longer made as a single order each time.
