Wasn't worried. Knowledge is power, as they say, thought I was missing some when I was emphatically told it was a Mike Shannon. This one sounds quite a bit more brutal on the lower tones...probably just setup related, but I really like it.

It's got a Seymour HB pup, but not sure which model it is.

If you loosen or remove your strings, you can unscrew the four corner screws of the pickup mounting ring and lift up the humbucker + ring and see what identifying label(s) are affixed underneath the pickup baseplate.

Way less accurate, but an easier/lazier way is just to show us a closeup photo of your pickup. Some pickups can be identified (or, guessed at best) by the way they look, particularly regarding their polepieces and font.

Has Shannon ever made a recessed floyd sl-1? I have never noticed anything but top mount.
