USA Fusion legit/date check

Hey guys,

I picked up a USA Fusion off of reverb last week and it plays amazingly (my first jackson!), but I have a couple of questions. I'm not very knowledgeable about older Jacksons, does everything look legit here? The body is pretty beat up and has been repainted at some point, it also has aftermarket pups and the mid boost was removed. The serial number on the plate tells me its a 1990 Ontario, but I can't see any dates or anything in the pocket (probably from whatever clear was put on it. Is there any way to narrow down the date more?

Looks legit.
1990 USA Fusion.
Serial number puts it as being made in the early part of 1990.
Short of a date stamp or original hang tag, that's about as close as you can get.

Looks ok...Any markings in the rear tremolo route?

I can't see anything in the trem route, although I think it might have been painted over with the rest of the guitar. I sanded out most of that gross clear in the neck pocket to see if there was any writing under it (and it was bugging the hell out of me) but I couldn't find anything there either. Early 1990 will have to do lol, can't wait to get this baby properly setup! Thanks guys.

With 900 units listed for 1990, Spring would be a good guess for 000349.

It looks legit to me, I have 2 of them. It is very hard to fake a fusion due to the 24.75 scale. In addition, there were no grey MIJ fusions made to my knowledge.
I wouldn't sweat it. How is the paint? Pro done or hobbyist??
