      Nice. It's a Dinky, but not a DK1.

What year is your Rhoads? The RR1 and DK1 designation weren't used until '95-6.

              Fantastic pair.

              96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

Thats awesome! I've never seen a fire crackle RR either. The Dinky almost looks like red/black cheetah, but imo it's cool that all the fire crackle finishes are all unique.

They both look great and congrats on the new one!

Only the diehard nerds are gonna' correct you on the model name, but the 1990 catalogue calls them a Rhoads USA.
Up until 1990 it'd been called a Custom Rhoads.
By the '93 catalogue they were calling the production Rhoads a Rhoads Custom.

                    They finally settled on RR1.

Hehe, no matter what they call it it's a great guitar. Bought it brand new in 90 and never getting rid of it, many guitars have come and gone since Too many lol.

Cool, thanks. Gonna look for one of those with a "short" head.
