Hey guys,
I picked up a 2006 PC1 this week. I've wanted one forever and it was worth the wait. Looks fantastic and plays like a dream. I haven't had much time with it yet but have a couple questions about the sustainer. As soon as I switch it on, the strings immediately vibrate and get loud. Of course the bottom strings dominate since they respond to the magnetic drive more. If I try to solo on the higher strings, any lower string that I'm not muting takes over. Do I have to use a muting technique on the unused strings or is there a way to adjust things differently? I can't really leave it on because it starts to howl as soon as I'm not touching the strings. I know some of you guys have a lot of experience with PC1's, so thanks a bunch for the tips!
