Hello, I recently recieved my custom shop RR1T, and was quite disappointed that there was no "V- plate" where the strings go through the body, only ferrules instead. Anyone else experienced this?. I ordered a RR1T before with the same specs, and it had the V-plate on it.

That sucks...I have a custom select RR1T on order and it was listed on the final work order jackson forwarded in the Bridge Type box : Tune-O-Matic - V Plate Strings-Thru - Black
Was worried about that aspect so I'm glad it was listed. There wasn't a box to check for that on the pdf order sheet I downloaded...just floyd or TOM...Seems kinda random.
My orignal spec sheet had a reversed headstock which was listed on the work order as regular...which was fine because I had rethought that decision anyway on that body style. Guess you really have to go over it and make sure it's all correct...sorry you're not happy with it.Last edited by vander; 12-01-2017, 07:00 PM.-Michael

That really sucks!!!! But.....That should be easy to fix. Remove the top ferrules and place the V Plate on. I would call up your dealer and see about getting this done. If Jackson won't do it, get the V plate and have a competent luthier or repair shop do it for you.
