J0001 question for the Old-timers

Wondering if anyone that's been around here for awhile knows anything about J0001 - the KK Downing V. I remember reading somewhere on here long ago that KK got his contract with Hamer and never received the Jackson. That's all I know. Did he seek out Grover and order it? Did he ever play it or even see it? And what ended up happening with it, as in did another artist use it or did Grover just keep it and then sell it off when he sold off J/C? (I assume it's in Switzerland, but that's just a guess). Always been curious about the story behind that one. Any OG JCF'ers know the story?

Yes, ordered by K.K. Downing, but he didn't take possession of it. Jay Reynolds from Malice wound up with it. Not sure if Robb Witte still owns it or not.

Haven't seen a pic of it in years since the gallery section has been gone.
