You know what? Even though the guitar is a counterfeit, I have a feeling the EMGs are real. Fake guitars with "brand name pickups" typically have incorrect-looking logos on the pickups (usually the font type or font size looks "weird"). The logos on these EMGs are correct, and the texture of the pickup covers also looks correct for EMG.

Yes I do think that for $300 this is a fair deal for a neck through guitar with what could be a 81-85 combo. That bridge looks legit and it could overall be a decent guitar. It just sucks that it has all that fake stuff.

If you want a neck thru with emgs that plays decent, just look for a charvel desolation.... I picked up a dst-1 in new condition for 250. True its still a chinese guitar, but its a lot better chnese guitar
