SDK1 Serial Numbers

Hi - I'm looking an SDK1. I'm trying to find more details, but that model was short lived and finding information is challenging. One thing I'm struggling to find are the serial numbers to tell me what year it was made. Also, while the label says SDK1, I don't think I can be sure unless I check the serial number against a verified list.

I've searched for SDK1 and SDK2 and none of the results help (unless I've missed it).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It turned out to be an SDK2, s/n 603237. It's in excellent shape, just a small nick on the edge of the body. Paid $180.

You don't find a lot of discussion about these and I'm certainly no expert on them. But either guitar, a USA SDK1 or Japanese SDK2, for $180 is a steal. Congrats!

Yes, that should be a solid guitar for little money.
The serial is for '96.
