Looks like 2002 in Ontario, Ca.

Before. But that has nothing to do with the quality of the instrument. It's merely a sales gimmick to try and get more money. There is no verifiable evidence that a pre-fender Jackson is any better than a post-Fender buyout Jackson. I own a few of both and there's no difference at all.
