Thank you audiophile for the info, it is nice to know that I own an instrument with history. Especially considering that it started as a NAMM custom model and finally ended up on the other side of the planet (Greece) 15 years later! I would like to say that the particular solar finish looks much better in reality than it does in the photos. I have already ordered most of the hardware in black chrome (including the pickups), and I will try it to see how it looks. I will post picture when I will complete the installation.
