Custom Select "Body Top"

I was just looking at Custom Select forms and was curious as to what "Body Top" option means? I searched online and couldn't really find anything.

It's exactly that, a top put on the body. For example, if you get an alder body, it will just be an alder body. You may want to get a flamed/quilted/plain maple top put on, or even a top made of a different kind of wood.

Indeed. As an example, a Gibson Les Paul is a mahogany body with a a maple top in most instances. The fancier the top looks in regards to the woods natural figuring of the grain;the more expensive it generally is.
