I dig scalloped guitars but I don't have any these days
because it was too hard to go back and forth between my scalloped and non scalloped guitars.
Everybody is right, you can get some crazy vibrato happenin'
with a scalloped fretboard.

Thinking visually, are there any wood to prefer in scalloped fretboards? Thinking of flame maple, birdseye maple and those with an interesting/heavy figure.

I like a shallow scallop from 12 up.

It tends to make chording a bit more difficult on the lower frets.
