Hello, I have a Jackson Kelly KEMF, i want to know the History of this USA`s Kellys, i know was a limited run of 100 on musicianfriends, but what about the year? and the price new?? someone have the scanned MF magazine??

he's referring to the black kelly with gold floyd...considered a marty friedman model but only sold thru musician's friend...d.m.

Yep, I think I've got an old catalog with that down in my basement somewhere. Too bad I don't have a scanner. They were made in the late '90s, like '97 or something. There was also a KV1 just like it with gold Floyd. They also made versions with black Floyds, but I'm not sure if they were Musician's Fiend models or just another special edition.

the kellys with black floyds were called the ke1f...not a marty friedman model (no sig on headstock)...they weren't made very long either...d.m.

even tho i love the kelly i find myself spending more and more time with this one

the neck on it is just unbelievable...never let anybody tell you jackson can't make them like the old charvels anymore...this one is proof that they can when they want to...d.m.

me and charveljunkie did a trade...he got the black and purple crackle charvel, i got this one and an undisclosed amount of money...we both walked away from the deal VERY happy...d.m.
