Hey All!
I picked one up from our very own Hippie Tim in a trade a few months back and I must say, it is every bit what you would expect and THEN some! I was a bit skeptical at first, I did not like the headstock or the inlays, but I did not own a KV so I did the deal. Once I got it tho, I was BLOWN away by it, this guitar SHREDS! It has more of a Gibson feel to it, the neck if thicker than a normal Jackson neck and NO WHERE near as thin as a regular KV! Anyway, if you have the means don't hesitate, add one to the collection right away! [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

KV2T's in person are really nice looking. I saw a natural finish one in the store and I REALLY liked how it looked but I don't need another V (in fact I've found that I'm less into V's then I used to be [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] ). I really like the work on the inlays, they look very nice. The headstock doesn't bother me at all. The guitar plays great too, which is always a plus [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

The only feature that I don't like on the guitars is the Zebra pickups; they sort of draw my eye to the pickups (mostly on the darker finishes) which I don't like as much. My eyes should be focused on the beautiful inlays!

I love the KV2T, headstock and all.the only thing I would change are the tuners.

so is black forest and black cherry look REALLY dark, then when looking at the right angle it'll be green/red?

It's a very dark green. It doesn't change color with different angles, though. Just hard to photo, as it's so dark that it often looks black in photos.

A question.
Why do KE1Ts have Marty's signature and KE2Ts don't?
I was checking some pictures of KE1Ts and they all have Marty's signature on the headstock..
I understand Marty used to have his signature models with 1hum Kelly but...
I am not a big fan of him and not interested in having his signature on the headstock..
I would love to get a KE1T but seriously,little signature on the headstock bothers me.
And yea, I want a KE2T BADLY.
