Yea...When I placed the order, I didnt expect it in til Dec/Jan. They had one in stock. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] Scott has it set up looooow. This thing is really sweet. I had plans to change the pups, but I'm re-thinking that now. This pair of SD's are much "hotter" than the ones in my SLATQ. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

I Can't wait for the Chlorine to come in...although this will keep my GAS in check for now...maybe?. Scott said he has another LTD batch in the works. This one is a DK1 with a special snakeskin finish.... Should be cool! I've never owned a DK1, so I may look at one of those too. DIVORCE COURT HERE I COME! Nice, I've got a trans black SL2H. Nicest ebony neck I've ever played. Congrats , she's a beaut!
What's the difference in tone that you're seeing?, I've never owned a MAH body guitar.

Well...It's a more open grain than maple. It's gives a sweeter sound. More sustain & better resonance. The neck being MAH is what does it (I think [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]) A MAH body guitar is cool, but when you have a MAH body and neck, it really sounds smooth. [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

Forgot to mention. This thing came with GOTOH tuners.... Not Jackson logo'd. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] I thought that was strange.

Jackson tuners are essentially Gotoh, are they not? In the least, they do seem to be pretty similar.

Beautiful guitar! How does the acoustic and plugged-in tone compare to the regular SL2H?

I think yes but they should be jackson logo'd, no?
Only I can think of is at the time of putting the tuners, they were out of stock so they ended up using gotoh logo'd ones...
Maybe better ask Scott on this one.
