I emailed my inside rep at Jackson and am awaiting an answer...
But I pretty sure that the Jackson stamped tuners are Gotoh anyways.....

That looks rad. Mahogany definitely has a sweeter tone than any other body wood I've played. My Y2KV with a mahogany neck and body sounds really sweet to my ears. I hope they make a run of SL2HT's in mahogany, I'll for sure get one then.

Very nice man!! I have been a mahogany snob forever. If at least the body is sold mahogany, the tone will change alot, but if it is all mahogany and I meen no maple cap or even a thin maple cap, the low mids are heart breaking and the growl is immense, so sweet!! My Jackson Soloist Archtop has a mahogany body with a maple neck thru and quilted maple cap, my Hamer Firebird is an all mahogany body with a set maple neck and my Hamer Special is all mahogany body and neck with a set neck. Great tone when at least the body is mahogany, but all mahogany is like no other, very little to no upper mids, even the the mid heavy Duncan JB is tamed!! Jack.
