  • Jackson USA SL-1 prices?

Hey guys, just a question that maybe you can help me out with here. What do you guys think of the seafoam green USA SL-1 for this year? Was this color ever done before? Is it rare? Should the price be the same as getting a black soloist?

How much should I be paying for my SL-1, give me a range thanks. I understand that jackson prices have risen as of late, so I would like to see what the prices should be.

Here's a basic rule of thumb for buying virtually any high-end electric....take the list price and knock between 35-40% off. Generally speaking, that is usually the best cash price you can get from a dealer on a new guitar. There are exceptions and this is only based on what I do when I buy new. I've gotten up to 60% off before but that was an exceptional situation where the manager of the store had bought a NAMM Washburn N4 in Cherry burst and he got in trouble with the owner of the store for buying a guitar that they probably wouldn't sell. He told me he HAD to sell it fast and asked me what I'd pay. I told him 900 even and the deal was done. The guitar listed at 2400.
Try the 40%off thing, it almost always holds true.

I have seen Sea Foarm Green SL1 from Guitarexpress and they have in stock but I recommend you to try Scott at Vwall first.
I think it is the same list price as in Black color.

I don't know if the Seafoam Green has been on Jackson's before, but it's a old, old color found on Fender guitars.

hmmmm.. several years would mean plural, meaning more than one year...meaning we are in year 2004, show me one from 2002 ...or hell...we can try 2000, to be a lil crazy. That guitar is part of the new lineup of new seafoam greens.

                            Go and look on internet.
                            I don't see any differences of 2002,2000 and 2004.
Is this because you happen to have one or found one made in 2002 or 2000 so you are asking us to find more info?
Then why didn't you include more details of what you are looking for in the first post such as year of made?

Talking about price on used one in SFG, I bet this is one of the least popular colors of Jackson, I would say $700 max.

                            Good luck.

Go to www.jacksonmuseum.com and look at the old catalogs! They also made a few 1998 Shannon Soloists in Seafoam Green. 6 IIRC... It's not the most common color by any means but they are out there.
