Well, the logo will be gold.. I dont think mirrored tho.
but my Executive Creative Director and I have something cool in the works for Gold mirrored truss covers with special etching on it.[img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
Nothing is set as of yet.. its in the email I sent ya back.
I will announce the truss cover info and options that I sent you when I get all the details ironed out

BTW: just to give credit where it is due....
The picture mock up on the right at my website was originally an SL2H Chlorine from matt at OLS that was tweaked out in PS.
Matt and I spoke for a good 45 minutes to an hour today about all sorts of good stuff and BS and this guitar

Anyways, Matt gave me his blessing to use the picture so I just wanted to say thanks!

You should get it with gold hardware. If somebody wants to change the hardware to black, they'll have no problems finding people (like myself [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]) who are ready to trade black hardware against gold.

Gold logo and hardware would be cool. But, again, it makes me think of a maple boarded Charvel. With Dimarzios, maybe. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Seriously, nothing against this design. It's way killer, too. It just brings to mind a Charvel I've been thinking about doing someday. I've had a very similar design concept floating around in my head for a while now. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

And I too wouldnt mind seeing it with duncans or dimarzios..
The question is trhen, how many want EMG's over a passive?

The idea behind this is that its a unique guitar that Jackson doesnt make a prod model.
If this were just an SL2H with gold hardware and oiled neck and reg duncans. The only real diffrence would be the purple, gold and oil...
Anyways, I am offering to pull out the EMG's and put in passives for those that want it ;-)

I like Duncans in alder, but maybe Dimarzios would be cool. You can't go wrong with EMGs, but if you wanted to be different from you typical SLTH and even your other limited run, I would be ok with Dimarzios. How about either SDs or Dimarzios with zebra coils?

I would certainly want Duncans. JB in bridge, 59 in the neck. To me, the purple color & gold hardware is unique enough, I dont have a great need for it to be labelled as "limited edition". that dont mean a hill of beans to me, it just drives the price up. I just want a cool color. I'm not even crazy about the oiled neck. But the pickups are important.

So whats the deal on the pickups scott??? we can opt for Duncans as a retrofit? or will they come from the factory with Duncans?

What if say we did these with either All Duncans or all Dimarzio?
Then of course there wouldnt be the battery box routed in the back... unless of course we want to keep that option...

I dont really mind but if its between the 2 I would rather go with Dimarzios... or even the Duncan Invadeder etc..
I just dont want another same ol Duncan combo..
Of course I will do a swap out on pick ups for those that want it.
terms can be negotiated etc...
lets get this last bit of info ironed out, aye.
