I don't blame you at all for wanting more pics. A custom shop Jackson with a gig bag? That is suspect! Could be why your emails weren't answered. I love GMW. I go to that site all the time. Killer graphics. Dan is the man when it comes to paint. I feel the same about the guitar/money problem. If I had Bill Gates money I would be broke in no time.........But I would have alot of killer guitars. I think the pups are trivial.
Id be willing to bet you guys could all agree on a nuetral pup and I would do the swap out for those that want different one labor free [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
I certainly wouldnt want to see this run have a battery box route on the back of the body even if it has EMG's

If you don't like EMG's, What would you suggest? Anything but a Seymour Duncans. The whole idea of this run is to make it different from a regular SLATQH. I would be open to Bill Lawerence, Dimarzio or whatever, but if the others have their heart set on EMG's you're aout of luck.

Scott, do they have to put in a battery box for EMGs? I would rather not myself. There is plenty of room on the control cavity.

EMGs will be cool.
I want it with 2 EMGs.
And Battery should be inside of the control cavity like Jim said.

I wanted to put EMG's in my SLATQH, but it's such an expensive guitar with charecter all it's own. I don't want to mess with it. I would love a factory SLATQH with EMGs. I'm open, but EMGs are my first choice.

Agreed. I wouldnt want to see a battery box on the body.. so yes, I beleive the bateery will fit nicely in the cav...

What happens if in early 2005 they discontinue the SLATGH?
I have this feeling Jackson isn't selling enough of these to keep as production model...

It's already a limited production guitar so I wouldn't be surprised if they stoped it soon. Mine is ja0384 so thats the 384th (ja serialized)arctop. There are not a lot of these out there. Does anyone know how many SLATQs they have been making a year since. the first year of production? 2002?

Thats why I thought this would be such an interesting run. It's a unique guitar to begin with. Pricey, but unique.
