These are the pics that Scott took before shipping out. I believe Scaz got his, but we are all waiting.
I do want to do a MP3 clip comparing the 81 in the bridge and the 85 in the neck. Then I want to switch (I'm a member of the 85 in the bridge club) them and post both clips for comparison. This is something I have wanted to do for a while. I can't wait to hear the 18v setup.
I have been busy with other things but I will say this...the neck on this is SWEEET...love the unfinished feel. I will get some pics up later. I wanted to get some in the sun but that is not an option the last couple of days.
For those that have a chlorine guitar, are these last pics a good photo of what the color looks like. I have never seen a chlorine guitar, and the impression I got was that it was more turqoise in color from most the photos I have seen. If it's the blue color of the last pics, that is an awesome color. great looking guitars.
Come and get one in the yarbles, if you have any yarbles, you yunick jelly thou!
Hard to capture the green in most pics, especially with a digitial camera. Looks even more killer in person.
Of course, like any transparent finish, there are always variations from guitar to guitar. I've seen some with very little green in the middle, others with a whole lot of it, and others still that had only a little 'burst to the pattern and were more aqua all over.
Don't forget that Chlorine is really hard to capture on film. These look too blue to me. Check out this link Jeremy posted of his Chlorine SL2H OSG.....
I imagine that most Chlorine guitars are fairly consistent. Some darker shades of green & blue than others, perhaps. But the variations probably have more to do with photography than the actual finishes themselves. Hard to say for sure without seeing them all in person, though. So Chlroine is supposed to be more greenish in the center. So would you say that in the pics at the top, are more in line with a trans blue finish. I know it's chlorine it just come off more blue in the pictures. Thanks, I really need to see that Chlorine in person.

Under natural light, mine seems quite a bit darker than the photos so far. I will get some pics up in a few...I'll try to get some natural and with flash.
The pic makes it look like a very dark trans blue, doesn't it?
But this guitar is not really like that in person. Definitely a green-to-blue 'burst, and probably a shade or two lighter than in that picture. The blue is actually closer to VWall's pics than my own, but with the green in the middle.
I've always wondered if the same problem applies to Euphoria. Most pics I've seen show it as sort of a trans pink 'burst. Yuck! That's probably why it was discontinued - not a very popular finish. But I've always been told that it's actually more of a red-to-violet/purple 'burst in person, which sounds very cool. If true, I'd really be into that. But I've never seen one in person, so... You can see a hint of green in this head stock photo with flash...but under natural light it is definitely blue:
Here is pic with no flash (sorry...raining and windy outside today, no sun):
And lastly, here is the body under flash...this is WAY lighter with the flash. Without flash it is a SWEET deep blue!:
Definitely gonna get some gold pup rings for this! Sounds great, although I haven't had a ton of time to mess with it (other than taking pictures!)
From what I can tell, The green in the chlorines seem to be most dominant on the imports.
I had an SL3 in chlorine for repair a while back and it had the greens.
The Usa Chlorines dont seem to have that green in them, which Im well pleased with.
