But that guitar is BEGGING for a nice graphtech nut and some locking tuners!!!!

How is the tuning stability out of the box, It's interesting to see how that nut is cut!

Anyone else finding low output from their 81... I ahve not replaced the batery and I tried to ignore it but my 81 is low output I would say it was the 18 volt but my neck is screaming loud and gainy... Anyone else? Is it just me? I guess a low battery in the 81

I love EMGs and like oiled necks. I currently dont have an oiled neck but they look like they play nice. and this guitar will be a nice change to all black Jacksons or gun metal grey. Something brighter, eye catching, and as nice to look at as it is to play.
