Maybe a goofy question, but I've seen some of the San Dimas era guitars labeled "Ivory" that look very white to me, almost like the modern Snow White.
I always thought of ivory as slightly yellowed, e.g. this JCF-01 http://www.hackolutions.com/gear/old...cksonjcf01.htm
However, in this thread https://www.jcfonline.com/forum/equi...ipes-need-info, the OP is corrected from calling the finish Snow White and is told it's Ivory https://imgur.com/TIWKkBK
I see this 86 King V on Reverb, and it's just listed as "white", but it looks a lot brighter than ivory https://reverb.com/item/52752568-jac...g-v-1986-white (almost like a pearl white?)
Lastly, a couple years ago, Mike Shannon built a replica of J0001 (https://s24176.pcdn.co/wp-content/up...0/01/00001.jpg), and the color is listed as "Snow White Pearl".
I was under the impression that the standard colors in the San Dimas days were: Black, Ivory, Ferrari Red, and Platinum Pink. If that's right, are the 3 bright white ones I posted some custom white, or Ivory? After seeing J0001 mentioned as Snow White "Pearl", I also started to think the 85 Kelly and 86 King V looked like they might be slightly pearlescent as well. Snow White isn't normally a pearl color, right? Ivory isn't offered on any new models, or an option on the Custom Select order form, so I'm not sure how else to iron this one out other than asking the experts here.
Thanks guys
