Hi guys,
So X shapes are my favorite shape ever- probably the Star is overall my fave, but I've realized my palm of my fretting hand is too large, where really only a V gives me enough freedom to play up near the 24th fret and use all 4 fingers on the low E string without my palm getting stuck in the lower horn opening.
The one caveat is, is that I know a Warrior has the largest lower horn cut out of any X shape I know (please let me know if I'm mistaken), so I want to try one and see if I can write off all X shapes and just stick with Vs. I live in NYC, so if anyone in NYC happens to have a Warrior, I'd love to try it out just to see what I think of the lower horn...there's none in stores currently.
My alternative would be to buy one off Reverb and try to sell it for minimal loss (this is assuming I went with like an X series or so, so if I liked it I'd try to find a USA but I don't want to risk that amount of money for now).
Thanks!
