Hey All,
I thought I'd reach out to the community with my new find.
This beauty has gone to a few local collectors over the last few years, and it is quite special!
The story is; they only made 100 in the USA, and the first 20 or 25 went to Phil himself. He then gave a few away to family/friends and they eventually made it to the used market.
Why they stopped making them? The archtop being hand-carved was too costly for Jackson.
I'm a bit more of a casual Def Leppard fan myself, so I would be down to trade this one out, or sell it down the line. For the time being, I will happily appreciate it! Super cool piece of history.
This one is an 89 or a 90. (I believe an 89 due to the early serial number, but not quiet sure just yet)
They also made some in Japan around the same years, as well as a USA custom shop reissue in 2014.
