And finally, the Rhoads that I still have. the black one is RR0801, restored to it's original grandeur by Chuck DeCarlo, beautiful guitar to say the least, my nuclear yellow w/ black bevels Custom Shop RR-1, and the '85 SD Rhoads I found a month or so ago. My wife bought me the yellow RR-1 for Xmas one year. It is a killer axe!

Re: Last ones, I promise...Rhoads I have left...
The nuke has Jackson pups; whatever models they put in in 89/90. I don't know what wood the natural one is for sure but I believe it is poplar. That one I actually stumbled into at a local shop. I saw it hanging on the wall...saw the made in USA....and quickly learned that I'd just found a San Dimas Rhoads. It is most likely an '85, based on the opinions of Jim Shine and a few others that are quite informed. It ised to be ferrari red but someone stripped it and put a clearcoat over the wood. It was probably stolen at some point since the serial number has been sanded off. It's also kind of cool that it has sharkfins on a rosewood board with no binding. While all Jackson were custom shop pieces back then, it was not common to find fins and rosewood on the same neck. It has what appear to be the original Duncans in it; a 59 and a jazz. That is the only Rhoads that I would sell. My Sunset Beach RR1 has been sold but the nuke will always be mine and probably the same with RR0801. Thanks for the nice words.
