actually i got it from Toru, another member here(dinkyjacksonman) who got it from another member and it was used on the CATANINE CD.
its a player , and being my only string thru i use it tuned down to D. its a little beat up, but it plays super sweet,it has a brand new fret job from LEE at GMW customs, and some new(and exact replica) custom brass from Dave our very own(budman)who BTW if you need any custom parts like control panels, pup rings T.R. covers things of that nature....Dave is THE man.

I know this thread is extremely old but I just happened upon it.
I was the guy who got it from a pawn shop. 'First Cash Pawn' out of Dallas. Funny but sad story really. Regardless of how I got it or it's condition it was and apparently still is a killer guitar. It was bone stock when I got it but the bridge pickup had fizzled out. I think I put a Seymour in it there but I forgot the model. I made the brass truss cover and pickup rings.
It was used to record the CD my old band released back in 1999. The band Catanine.....don't worry, you've never heard of us. If I remember correctly, the buyer worked for (or worked with) GMW.
I really hated to see it go but like all things, like price of the sale spoke louder than it's crushing tone. I bought it for under $200 shipped and sold it for around $850 +/-.

Appearance wise it was a dog, but I couldn't tell you how many people wanted it after they heard it. I'm glad it's still around.
