Thanks everyone. I'm definitely loving the Warrior. I think I may get a WR1 soon also. WarriorX7, XXX, Xeneophobe and Newc were right! Warrior's definitely rule. Great balance, light weight and they sound awesone.
We must!
We must!
We must increase the bust!
The bigger the better!
The tighter the sweater!
The boys are counting on us!
It's my belief (that my big balls....uh.um..wrong quote!)
That everyone should experience a Warrior at least once to see if they like them or not. Look guys, we converted a Soloist guy over to the "Pointy side"...and that's not the first one either!
I like my trio, but to be honest, the sound of those early stock pickups suck. The newer ones have humbuckers, but no slanted fingerboard end, which I love. Too bad Jackson didn't just add humbuckers and keep the original design.
Brett,
I went back and fourth for weeks with Kevin Easton on the WR1 design, trying to get him to at least bring the slanted fretboard back. He didn't like any of the rail or stacked humbucks available.
I told him a Hot Rails in the neck pos...and he didn't like that. I told him it sounded way better than those stupid Armstrong rails they used to use.
