i like it better the old way... Careful putting sticky stuff on that laquer finish. It will burn in after a while...

To be honest Newc, I just felt like giving you ****. It had been a few days so I couldn't resist.

Yeah I know - I was just funnin

And no power tools on this one - except a string winder bit thingy in a weak-ass cordless drill

Baum - That "poor poor Warrior" was a run of the mill WRMG body, not a USA or 90/91 Pro, and the spikes/studs didn't ruin the body or tone.
And it's also not finished yet - got more ideas for it.

At least he didn't pull a Halford on it like on that poor, poor Warrior.

If I'd have know that's what he was going to do with it, I never would have sold it to him. Poor Warrior.

I do really like the pinstripes on the Rhoads, though.

I was thinking the same thing. Is that a laquer finish on the 01s?

Good point. Newc if that's lacquer, you need to get that pinstriping off there. It will definitely become one with the lacquer - I've seen it first hand.

I'm surprised at how great that pinstriping looks on there. Nice work. Shame about the lacquer and glue incompatibility though.

                            it's urethane.

Since it's urethane, will the tape fuse with it?

I'd take that off there like yesterday before it screws with the paint. What's next, curb feelers attached to the strap buttons?
