Wow, that's a great color! I really like the clean look of that guitar. I noticed the strange placement of the strap button on the back of the upper horn. Is this common on San Dimas Soloists, or was it special ordered, modified, etc?
Great guitar, congratulations

Wow... that is one great looking and very unique guitar!
Have you looked under the truss cover? The work order # could be under there, and if it was refinished, it's also a spot that might show it.
One hell of a sweeeet guitar in any event... It's just too clean looking for a guitar owned and used by a touring endorsed artist. I'd expect that you would know by examining it in person, so I take your word at it.

I am thinking it was a studio guitar as the electronics are a bit complicated for live use. It does have its share of damage though.
Nope, no work order number visable there. It is the gray paint with just a little area masked off by the truss rod nut. I am not surprised though as J0191 and J0233 are also all stock and have no visable work order numbers in any of the routes.
Check it out, his other guitar is on eBay now. Lots of similar features and that one looks to be in good shape as well. Maybe this guy didn;t keep them long or took care of them. Bob Davis Soloist
