EMGs rule!! I would buy that guitar in a heartbeat if I had the money right now, but I would swap the 81 and 85 around. The 85 sounds better in the bridge to me! [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

Wow, theres a lot more EMG lovers here than i thought. [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] When i get my Sl2h, i think im going to switch out the EMGs in the strat and put the duncans in there, emgs in the jackson. Anyone else have 81s in their sl2h? or duncans in a strat?

I heard from Guitarxpress and they said they were wondering what the next "Team Jackson" would be. They said a Rhoads would be a good idea.

7 string???hmm...I think I'd rather have it like this.... RR1T,6 string,EMG 85-85,(maybe 81 in bridge)Road Hazard Yellow w/black bevels,black hardware,no pickguard,black binding,non reverse headstock. BUT, that's just me [img]graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

Barrie, i think jack said it was a single coil, so it cant be an 85. [img]graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] i went to emg's website, and they have like 4 or 5 differnt models of gold lettered single coils, maybe check them out at www.emginc.com

The gold single is an SA...

The RT is a tele bridge pickup and wouldn't fit in a standard single coil hole, and the SV and SAV are very new (and have exposed pole-pieces)
