I'm looking to buy a 2001 SLAT-M but I'm not sure about the Body Wood. I've read on GMW's Page that the body on a '01 SLAT-M may have Alder Wings with the Mahogany Neck-Thru. Were all the Limited SLAT's built this way? Were there any with all Mahogany backs?

Yes, that is what I suspected. I simply found it odd that Jackson would build An Archtop with anything else but GMW's site is specific with the details. I like the 2000 Archtop-JA0186 I recently bought as it has a maple neck and the mahogany body. Mr E.A.P., how do you like the mahogany neck? I'm looking at a 2002 SLAT-M and I'd like to get some opinions. I'm convinced I've found the guitar of my dreams in my Archtop and I'm going to sell a couple guitars to get another Archtop.
