you know how when you say a word over and over again, it starts to lose it's meaning and just starts to sound silly?

I'm getting the same thing looking at all these Jackson stratheads. If I see a full body pic of Xeno's black Jackson, I think it's about the coolest thing around. But looking at all these stratheads together with that big-arse Jackson logo, they're all starting to look kinda goofy to me [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Sorry, not particularly helpful (at all really), but just making an observation.

I am not a fan of the big Jackson logo. The smaller one that Surfdork had on the seafoam strat was cool. Taken as a whole they are not that bad but the close ups always make me think that they did not think it thru. Thankfully I am not as upset by it as xeno is

Love the black strat headstock with the small white Jackson logo. Also love the black strat headstock with the small gold Charvel guitar logo (not pictured). Not a big fan of the large logos - they appear to "take over" the whole face.

besides artist endorsements, how did the jackson stratheads, esp. those from the ontario plant, come about? were they custom shop pieces that slipped under the fender radar or something?
