This arrived recently and I'm impressed. I had the pickups changed to Rio Grandes (great pickups), and I really like this body style. The top is better than I thought - in the original ebay auction, the top looked pretty weak. It's really nice in person, and I'm happy to have this guitar in my collection.

I am happy it is in your collection too. I would be extatic if it were in mine. Congrats on a great looking axe Brett! Scott

Oh yeah... [ QUOTE ]
I remember Marty Friendman playing one of those, i always liked them.

Supposedly this was Marty's, or at least he posed on a magazine cover with this guitar. Does anyone have that magazine? I want to say it's Guitar One or something, but can't be sure.

I remember that one! Yeah, the top does look a little better than in the other photos.
Man, I just love the look of body binding on on Explorers / Kellys and Vs. Wish J/C did more like that.
Did you get him down to a more reasonable price? j/k
Great score. Congrats.

What would you call that color? I really like that shade.

Even though the guitar itself is a great view, how about the background on the first pic

Everything in those cases is pictured on my website (which needs updated...badly).
Thanks for the compliments.
