FINALLY ORDERED A CUSTOM SHOP!!

YESSSSS!!! In a moment of sheer boredom and realising the Price Is Right, I plopped down a deposit for my very first USA Jackson Custom Shop guitar.

Here's the specs:

-Body - Warrior 7-string
-Neck - Maple/Ebony/Fins/Binding/SLS head
-Scalloped neck heel (tentative - does that work on a 7-string or does it make the heel too thin and weak?)
-Locking Tremolo (Floyd Rose not specified on the form, but I hope it's a good one and not some crapass JT580-7 or something)
-Duncan Distortion and Jazz 7 (if available, have to find out)
-Side-mounted jack like the 1990 Warriors
-Blood Splatter graphic
-And the option you'll all love - BOLT ON NECK! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
Yes friends and neighbors, it's a bolt-on. Better tension for the lower strings, tighter tone, all that good garbage [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
Plus it's a helluva lot cheaper on me (which is of course the most important factor)

Should be here in about a year [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

If you take the fingerboard inlays off, it will be less money ...
I am thinkig of ordering a custom shop with no inlays(Ebony 24frets) in early 2005

Yeah Ron I live in "Horror Movie" country. We pipe in sunshine via satellite. We make stuff like "Wrong Turn" look like "Driving Miss Daisy" [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I won't order inlays on my custom order, but not because it's less money. I just think an ebony board without inlays looks nicer.

I gotta have inlays - don't let me get a Custom Shop ebony board with no inlays - you see what nonsense I get up to with a STANDARD USA no-inlay neck, don't you?



Since decals don't work on ebony, that leaves me with the Dremel, and we don't wanna go there [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
