It has righty tuners on it.... Look like Schallers. Supposedly an employee project guitar right? No work order or serial number if I remember correctly. I bought the Fbird from him a few weeks ago and it was acurately described. I think someone else hear has a real deal Jackson Explorer that looks close to that one. Maybe he will show up here and give his thoughts... Big $$$$ for a non-serialized guitar with no owner/builder verification.....

Yeah - I've been keeping my eyes on it but the price was originally way too high. I think I'll pass on it as I have a feeling that I like it cos it's unusual, not because it's really the guitar for me!

I asked the same question in the E-bay section couple months ago.
It seems like the guitar is a real Jackson.
Even not, with the Korina Body/neck guitar with neck thru, the price is very reasonable considering ordering one.

They're not gonna build you one. I've tried already, and have had the " [img]/images/graemlins/nono.gif[/img]" finger waved at me. *sigh*....pretty freekin sad if ya ask me!

It sure looks real to me. I don't know of another builder that's done a neck through Korina Explorer other than Jackson - I'm not saying it couldn't be done but that sure looks close to mine. The only thing different is the size/angle/position of the control route (and the fingerboard obviously).

His current price of $1695 is a screaming deal for that guitar if you ask me. Even if you could order it from the custom shop it would run you almost double the price.
