• My new Rhoads is in!

She's finally here! RR1936, which makes it San Dimas. Natural finish (although I suspect she's been refinned somewhere during her life - when I opened the springcavity I foud red sparkled paint), OFR, Duncan Full Shred in bridge and Duncan Jazz in neck position, neck and headstock binding, sharkfins, ebony fingerboard I believe ... very beautiful!!!

A few dings and scratches, a little damage in the binding ... but I can live with that I haven't plugged her into my Marshall JCM900 halfstack yet, but she sounds killer through my Marshall 30watts practice amp at home. The action is a little too high for me, but that can easily be adjusted.

    This is a killer guitar!!!!

I've taken a nice pic of her, and one of my entire 'collection', but I can't host them. If anyone could be so kind ... Thanx!

Thanks guys! I'm going to leave it natural. It really looks good and I always wanted a guitar with a natural finish.

Last night I took her to band practice and played her through my halfstack. Man, I was blown away by the sheer power of it. She sounded raw and dirty, very loud and powerful. This one is going to get a LOT of stage exposure
