I paid my deposit the other day and just faxed my confirmation sheet back to Matt this morning!

Specs:

Extreme Randy Rhoads
Mahogany Body and 3 piece Mahogany neck
Ebony fretboard with red neck and headstock binding.
"D" Backshape .725" @ 3rd fret .800" @ 12th fret
Bevels painted to match the binding.
Red logo on reverse headstock.
EMG 85 18v w battery compartment
Non-recessed JT590 (FRII)

25 frets and the fretboard end angled to match body wings have been approved!!!!

Anyways, this is what my monster will end up resembling:

That, sir, is the coolest Jackson ever!!!! [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img] Why not go with an 89 to get some cool clean single coil tones? After all, it is both an 85 and SA under the hood... and all you have is a push/pull pot to engage the single coil mode.

Mine should be here first - bolt on and all that [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
It'll probably just be a DK7 body center with Warrior wings and a DK7 neck with a harpoon head fitted on it just to get it in and out faster [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/poke.gif[/img]

Who knows, we both might be getting Christmas in July [img]/images/graemlins/drool2.gif[/img]

But then I haven't received a confirmation thingy from Matt yet (and neither he from Jackson - holiday and all that), so Xeno's a day or so ahead of me. Either way they'll both be delayed for at least 2 months while Jackson "gears up for NAMM" [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

It'd be sweet if they both make the new catalog [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]
