    Info on an '87 Jackson Soloist custom shop

    I recently bought a Jackson Soloist in a pawn shop for $230. And according to the serial # (J4023), it's a custom shop. My question is, it says professional series on the headstock and the truss rod cover says JX Soloist, what doest the JX mean?

      I thought all Professional series were made in Japan

        I seriously doubt it's an '87 Custom Shop Soloist, with those kind of markings.
