Fantastic! Light too! A tone monster! Very resonant. Reverse strat output jack too. (I love that) Serial # is 107033 ??? Employee #??? Winning lottery number???? Lucky number??? Who knows.... The case says "LES TOWNSEND on it so I am assuming that was a former owner... Does anyone know if a Les Townsend works for Jackson??? Nice G&G fitted case that has a few bumps... No biggie... There was another name on painted on it or Les's name wore off and he repainted it.... Can't tell. Name is on the case in very small letters... Pickups are Duncans and are logoed but no stickers on the back so I dont know what they are. Guitar has a huge quality build to it. Jackson neck thru construction all the way. no doublt it isn't what it is. The neck is sandwiched in the body like 90's Jacksons... Gotoh tuna bridge. Sheilding paint in all the cavities... Neck is nice! Frets are nicely dressed. Black rich ebony board. The MOP Shark inlays have a ton of nice figuring in them... Hand picked for sure. Even the smaller ones have a nice 3d look. I am in love with it. It is the nicest sounding guitar I own. I was planning on swapping the pickups but the guitar sounds so great I will leave it alone. The strap button located at the back of the neck is just a tiny bit higher than any other Jackson neck thru I own and with the button in that spot and it is perfect. Your hand doesn't touch the strap or the button. It balances perfect and is not neck heavy or body heavy. it leans back slightly.... Perfect. If I ever order another CS with the button on the back by the neck heel this is where to put it. I wish it was there for my Firebird or my old Kellys. Neal described it right on. Has a few bumps but it is in really nice shape.
Pics to come soon. Hopefully by the weekend. Sorry for the wait!
